We moved from Florida to Tennessee in 2001. All signs point to the fact that we will probably retire here -- by choice. We L O V E Nashville! Our favorite places to live are just south of the City -- we've had houses in Brentwood, Franklin, and Spring Hill. And we have properties in Leipers Fork, Cookeville, and Lewisburg. This site is where I share my best tips for moving your family to Nashville and/or visiting Nashville for the first time -- with the ultimate goal of helping you find fun things to do in Williamson County and Davidson County. When I'm not out & about enjoying the Nashville area, you'll find me at the corner of Good News & Fun Times as publisher of The Fun Times Guide (32 fun & helpful websites). The latest buzz in Franklin these days is what the new Listening Room Cafe will be like! Most are excited to see another live music venue coming to downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Word is, the doors will open in February '07.

We kind of consider ourselves 'experts' on Americanized Thai cuisine these days, because we eat out at a Thai restaurant up to 3 times each week! I'll post a review of the other Thai restaurants soon, but for now, Basil's is the only Thai food I can think about... it was soooooooo tasty!

We both feel incredibly lucky that we are able to do what we enjoy most in life: Marketing, PR, Sales, and Websites. Who says you can't get paid for doing what you love???

One of my favorite things to do is to look at very old photos of Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee. Here's a classic one... it's the oldest known picture of Nashville. I strongly encourage you to check out the rest of Marty's collection of historical photographs from Nashville, Tennessee.

Here are some of the things that we wish someone would invent soon -- because they sure would make ours lives (and the lives of so many other people) much easier!

Today I came across an old video that Jim and I did -- and it made me laugh. We just looked so stupid. Actually it was the very first video we ever created (with our new video camera), and it was simply a trial & error thing, but for some reason, we felt compelled to post it.

At a local city park, there are just too many signs. While they have removed the 'Absolutely No Ball Throwing' sign, and a few other similar -- non fun -- signs, I was still amazed by the sheer number of signs you're faced with the moment you step foot in this lovely city park. How many signs can you spot in this one photo?
