We moved from Florida to Tennessee in 2001. All signs point to the fact that we will probably retire here -- by choice. We L O V E Nashville! Our favorite places to live are just south of the City -- we've had houses in Brentwood, Franklin, and Spring Hill. And we have properties in Leipers Fork, Cookeville, and Lewisburg. Currently the closest the Music City Star -- Nashville's new commuter train -- gets to Franklin is downtown Nashville in Riverfront Park. Good news though... Plans are in the works for an extension to the train's route, with stops in Brentwood and Franklin!

If you're in the Franklin/Nashville area, I'd encourage you to take one of these walking tours. See how scared you get as part of a small group of people walking the streets at night while hearing about dozens of well-documented stories about local ghosts & hauntings! Nashville's got a Musicians Walk of Fame! Now, who could've ever imagined that?!? ME! Today, this Country Music Walk of Fame is a popular tourist spot in downtown Nashville.

Virtually everywhere we've considered in Williamson County as a place to build our home, we've had to back out simply because they don't offer high-speed Internet there. Who knew that in one of the wealthiest parts of Tennessee, there are so many people living with dial-up Internet service in this day and age?! That, or no Internet at all!

Something struck me as odd when I saw this OLD-timey Army truck passing through downtown Nashville -- right past the Capitol Building -- yesterday during rush hour.

We love exploring all there is to see & do in the Gatlinburg area. Actually, I'm referring to those areas surrounding Gatlinburg more than the actual town of Gatlinburg itself. We typically hang out somewhere between Townsend (to the west), Cosby (to the east) and Bryson City (to the south). Here's what we like to do...
