Koi Sushi & Thai Restaurant

Sound appetizing to you?

I'm just checking...

I almost put this under the it's just not right category on my other website. But then I thought, maybe it's just me.

Koi Sushi & Thai is a new restaurant in Franklin, TN. And, just to be clear, we have not been there yet -- for the food. We've only been there to snap this photo. It catches our attention every time we drive by the little strip mall where it's located.

So I'd love to hear from you if you've eaten at the Koi restaurant in Franklin.

Call me old-fashioned, but I just have a hard time getting past the name. I mean, koi is not exactly a delicacy around here. They're more commonly thought of as pond fish.

Then again, who knows?... Maybe koi means something complete different in Thialand or Japan. Maybe koi is a delicacy and I simply haven't had the pleasure of enjoying it yet.

I guess I still have a little to learn about koi...

Love it!!! We go at least once a week. Food is the best Thai in Franklin/Cool Springs. I hope they stay for a long, long time. Great for kids, great sushi and from the things i have tried on the menu, PERFECT!!!

This is, by far, one of the best Asian restaurants in the area. The Thai food is perfectly proportioned with fresh ingredients, interesting presentations, and they are open to creating new things on the fly.

The sushi is fresh and well prepared. The best part about the place is the great service. The servers are friendly and are good at recognizing you if you go more than once. With my wife's love for this place, they know us by name.

I have tried things from all corners of the menu and never been disappointed. If you are a vegetarian, they will make nearly any dish with tofu or simply add more veggies.

You should try the place! The food there is great. The service is great. The atmosphere is relaxing. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful. The sushi is amazing and fresh.

One should not judge the place for it name. But judge it on its taste and atmosphere. "Judging a book by it's cover," thats jsut plain wrong!

But try it and you'll instantly fall head over heels for the place.

P.S. Try the Dragon Roll, it's one of my favorites!
