Bellevue Community Church In Action: This is... BCC 'Live'

| Comments (0)

If you haven't already experienced the services at Bellevue Community Church yourself, then you may be wondering just what it's like at BCC.

One thing's for sure: BCC is definitely not like your average, everyday church. (Our parents will be the first to tell you that!)

But it IS an enjoyable experience... no matter WHAT religious background you're from.

Come as you are! Odds are...

...you WILL have a great time

...you WON'T believe it's over already -- time will go by faster than you'd imagined

...you WILL feel welcomed no matter who you are, where you've been and what you've done in your past

...you WON'T feel pressured to give money

...you WILL walk away feeling certain that Pastor Dave was talking directly to YOU

...you WON'T be raising your arms (unless you're clapping to the beat of a song)

...you WILL be laughing out loud

...you WON'T see people in polyester singing badly

...you WILL feel the beat of the music (some of the best Christian "rock" music mixed with "traditional hymns")

...you WON'T be sitting next to "perfect" people -- they don't go to this church

...you WILL hear Bible-based messages that relate to you... and me... in the "real" world

...you WON'T be contacted by anyone -- your level of involvement in this church is soley up to you

...you WILL feel motivated to take control and make some changes in your life

...you WON'T be able to wait until Sunday rolls around again!

Are You Ready?...

Sound interesting? Sound like fun? Check it out some Sunday! You'll be glad you did.

..Get ready to make some noise!

Now, some pictures of BCC in action...

My Tribute To The Franklin Rodeo

| Comments (3)

Rodeo banners lining the streets of Downtown Franklin, Tennessee. This weekend marks the much-hyped Franklin Rodeo. It is said that hundreds of out-of-town cowboys have made their way to Franklin, Tennessee for this event.

I don't exactly get it.

I probably won't be attending.

But I am WAY into all the cool marketing for it!

Try this on for size...

Welcome to my world...

This is my welcome mat:
The view out our back door... HAIL!

Yes, that is HAIL... about a thousand marble-sized hail pellets landed on our back step in a matter of seconds today!

Enjoying The Belmont University Campus

Lynnette enjoying the beautiful warm sunshine on the Belmont University campus. While attending the BlogNashville conference the weekend before last at Belmont University, we had some time in between sessions to take in the beauty of the campus.

We've lived in Nashville for several years, but we haven't really spent any time at Belmont... until now.

Franklin, Tennessee: Now That's HOT!

...It appears that we live in the HOTTEST zip code in middle Tennessee!

After hearing something on the local news about the rising cost (and subsequent value) of housing in Tennessee, we checked out News Channel 4's website and found this:

37064 is the only Zip Code that all of the real estate experts agreed was THE hottest zip in Middle Tennessee.

Well, well. It appears that we are perched smack dab in the middle of something lucrative -- for a change.

Lil 'ol us... in the southwestern corner of Franklin, Tennessee.

Roadside Memorials & Bad Drivers

Found these stories in the news and thought they were interesting because:

1. I didn't know that roadside memorials were illegal; and

2. I didn't know that you could turn someone in for driving badly.

Did you?...

Personally, I think that picking your nose while driving should be illegal, but that's another story.
