We moved from Florida to Tennessee in 2001. All signs point to the fact that we will probably retire here -- by choice. We L O V E Nashville! Our favorite places to live are just south of the City -- we've had houses in Brentwood, Franklin, and Spring Hill. And we have properties in Leipers Fork, Cookeville, and Lewisburg. This site is where I share my best tips for moving your family to Nashville and/or visiting Nashville for the first time -- with the ultimate goal of helping you find fun things to do in Williamson County and Davidson County. When I'm not out & about enjoying the Nashville area, you'll find me at the corner of Good News & Fun Times as publisher of The Fun Times Guide (32 fun & helpful websites). To date, I’ve written over 500 articles on this site! Many of them have upwards of 100K shares.

I've narrowed down the absolute best resources for gathering information about cars, computers, electronics, cameras, the news, consumer reviews, and so on. Here's where I get ALL my timely, news-breaking information!

A photo summary of our night at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to see Dylan Altman -- he has a few hits on the radio with Trace Adkins and Tim McGraw; Sean 'Turk' McNamara -- an Irish Pub 'regular' kinda guy; Morry Trent -- more of a songwriter than a singer, but every word comes straight from the heart; Johnny Reid -- a Canadian superstar who's now making it big in the States; and Franky Perez -- one to watch for.

Before we moved to Nashville on April 25, 2001, Jim and I took 2 trips there. The first one was just a regular vacation to Chattanooga and to Nashville a few months before we were married. The next one was a trip to Nashville several months after we were married to make sure it was a place that we would enjoy living. Nashville definitely made a good first impression on us, and we ended up moving there 5 months after our 2nd visit. These photos show some of the things we did when we visited Nashville twice during the time that we lived in Pensacola, Florida.

Jeffrey Steele is one of our favorite songwriters of all time. Plus, he's a great performer to watch... especially in small venues where you're up close and personal with this energetic character! Here's our best stuff about Jeffrey Steele

Craig Wiseman doesn't have an official website. Judging from our hits on a daily basis, this site might be serving as Craig Wiseman's official homepage! Check out our personal photos of songwriter Craig Wiseman performing in and around Nashville.

Well, well... it looks like the "new neighbors" who moved in next door to us are none other than big-time Canadian singer/songwriter Johnny Reid, along with his beautiful wife and two adorable young sons!...

In an effort to meet stricter security enforcements, all bank customers must remove their hats.

We went to the Bluebird Cafe for an 'in the round' line-up of songwriters that we could not pass up: Tony Mullins, Craig Wiseman, Bob DiPiero, and Jeffrey Steele. Here are photo highlights...

I (like most Americans) spent this entire last week SICK. Jim got this bug worse than I did, but I'm home re-couping today. (...and it's such a beautiful day outside too, darn it!) Nonetheless, I managed to happen upon some...

Like we have every time over the past 4 years that we've been trying to get pregnant, we ended with: 'Well, if it was meant to be, it will be. Let's just leave it at that.'

The Pepsi/iTunes special is officially over (...sniff, sniff). So, unless you happen upon an "old" bottle of Pepsi product lying around on the store shelf, you won't be finding anymore "lucky winners" these days. That, my friends, means that our...

Highlights from Jim's time playing on 2 men's softball teams in Franklin Tennessee -- Williamson County.

I just realized that these "What I Learned This Week" posts sometimes take the form of "What I Think You'd Want To Know About Us This Week" instead. Such is life... It's a great way for us to update our...

While I was at the Caribbean this weekend, Jim was in San Antonio having the time of his life back on the racetrack. Here's a sampler of the types of things Jim is doing in his new job as PR & marketing -- and crew member-- for Terry McMillen's drag racing team.

I never thought I'd feel compelled to share my personal story about finding a church with anyone before. I tend to believe that things like church, religion, and God are all very personal matters that mean different things to different people. I'm of the 'live and let live' theory when it comes to issues like this, but today, I just had to share...

Jim was out of town on business this weekend, so I slipped away to the Caribbean while he was gone! What I mean is... I was able to LIVE like I was at the Caribbean this weekend -- thanks to...
