Nashville offers FREE movies in the park at the Centennial Park bandshell on West End Avenue on Wednesday's from May 31st through June 28th. Here's the movie lineup...

Ever since we moved to Tennessee, one thing that strikes us as funny is the number of 'snow days' that school-age kids get each year... and even the number of days that school is canceled due to RAIN -- in preparation for subsequent flooding. They tend to cancel school the night before, based on the premise that it's going to snow, rain, or sleet, rather than on actual precipitation.

All the best places to go horseback riding in the Nashville area... from The Natchez Trace to Percy Warner Park and dozens of horse riding stables in between.

We had the BEST time at the two most recent Nashville Predators home games!... here's a comparison of the view from the cheap seats (nosebleed Section 303) vs on the glass (where the pretty people are).

It was a scorching hot day in Franklin, Tennessee on the Fourth of July. Jim's brother, sister-in-law, and their 2 kids were in town visiting. We all went to Pinkerton Park for the afternoon, and this happened to be little Dylan's first time drinking out of a water bottle by himself. These photos bring a smile to my face every time.
