Something struck me as odd when I saw this OLD-timey Army truck passing through downtown Nashville -- right past the Capitol Building -- yesterday during rush hour.

Tennessee's roadside assisted program is called 'HELP' and features lime yellow colored trucks which roam the major roadways assisting stranded motorists and facilitating traffic flow after major and minor accidents. In Nashville, the trucks are imprinted with the words 'Highway Incident Response Unit' - HIRU.
