Yep, another American Idol alum was there.
Unfortunately, this shows you just how weak my camera’s flash is… Or rather, how far away I was from Kellie Pickler at the taping of “Gone Country” at the Wildhorse Saloon.
But some people might appreciate the photos…
Kellie was seated upstairs in the left balcony.
I was standing on the far right side of the stage, up front.
I have to say, Miss Kellie Pickler was as sweet as can be. The minute someone from the dance floor spotted her up in the balcony and called out her name, she was most gracious and waved to all her fans — for a long time.
Soon after the “Gone Country” taping began, someone from the show (maybe John Rich?) pointed out that Kellie was in the audience and invited her to come to the stage so all her fans could see her. It was a little awkward and there really wasn’t time for that anyway… After all, they were taping a show.
