I received a Grand Opening flyer for Learning Express Toys last month.
And while I didn’t make it to the celebration, I was eager to check it out on my own.
Any place that looks like it can help to entertain my 5-year-old for awhile is worth a peek.
Its unassuming storefront, nestled in between the Verizon store and Subway, is hiding quite a gem inside.
First Impressions
When I walked in, I was overwhelmed by how neat and orderly it was. Even though the toys are stacked nearly to the ceiling, it is so bright and cheery.
They’ve done wonders to get the most out of their display space. They have toys displayed by theme — games, science, construction — and big signs showing you where to find everything.
The clean, hardwood flooring has toys scattered about so kids can try before you buy, or just entertain themselves while you pick out the perfect gift for someone else.
The staff was very nice and polite. The prices were comparable to other stand-alone toy stores. I can’t find anything negative to say about the place. I really loved it.
I also noticed on the way out, they offer a gift registry, personalization, and free gift wrapping. Nice, clean, and convenient!
