Even in my own town (currently Nashville, Tennessee) I love to be a tourist and soak in all the exciting parts about the city!
Last week for example, we drove through downtown Nashville (Jim driving, and me with digital camera in hand) and spent a good hour just seeing the sights and taking pictures.
I snapped 127 pictures of things like the Nashville skyline, sidewalk scenes, street scapes, closeups of buildings, and interesting statues!
Some of my favorites were of the Nashville skyline — from lots of different angles:
And this controversial piece of art on Music Row called Musica. It’s a huge statue of 8 nude adults that first appeared in Nashville in 2003:

What I learned today: Fun is what you make it! Do you enjoy being a tourist in your own town as well?…
I like to help people find unique ways to do things in order to save time & money — so I write about “outside the box” ideas that most wouldn’t think of. As a lifelong dog owner, I often share my best tips for living with and training dogs. I worked in Higher Ed over 10 years before switching gears to pursue activities that I’m truly passionate about. I’ve worked at a vet, in a photo lab, and at a zoo — to name a few. I enjoy the outdoors via bicycle, motorcycle, Jeep, or RV.
