Nashville's Dr. Travis Stork Has A New Book AND A New TV Show!
Many have posted comments here or emailed me privately regarding an update on Travis Stork -- Nashville's hottest bachelor.
Well... the Bachelor (a.k.a. Dr. Travis Stork) is apparently still single. He and Sarah Stone called off their relationship soon after the show aired.

I saw Travis Stork on Dr. Phil last week. I only caught the 2nd half of the show which was entitled, "A Doctor's Prescription For Love".
Travis was one of the "experts" on the panel. Basically, he was there to talk about his new book, "Don't Be That Girl". He addressed many of the women on the panel's concerns about why they're still single.

...I must've missed that part about him working in Colorado now. Plus, he says he still lives in Nashville on his MySpace page. So let's just say, we're not sure of his exact whereabouts at the moment in time. But I'm sure that's precisely the way he'd likes it... always the sexy bachelor... always the mysterious one.
Now, back to Travis Stork's book...
With the whole "guy writes dating book for girls" thing, I was immediately reminded of a similar scenario. The one where Greg Behrendt wrote scripts for Sex and the City... then wrote a book for women about how to not be "that girl"... then hosted a talk show where he was the pseudo relationship expert... then they pulled the plug on the show.
By the way, I really liked Greg's book. It was "in your face" facts about dating -- from a guy's perspective. It's called Girlfriend, He's Just Not That Into You".
Fast-forward now... to where Travis Stork stars as "the Bachelor"... picks a winner... dumps the girl... goes back to his old girlfriend... and writes a book about what girls should do to get a guy. What's next? A talk show on TV about dating & relationships?

UPDATE: Had I seen the beginning of the Dr. Phil show mentioned above, then I would've seen that yes, Travis does live in Colorado now. And yes indeed, he is the host of the new show called "The Doctors". This was clarified in the 2nd video (from the link above).
By the way, The Doctors will air on CBS beginning in the Fall of 2008. It's a roundtable discussion that has been compared to "The View".

I seen Carrie Underwood and Travis Stork in Harris Teters. I thought Stork was here body guard becuase of how tall he is. I guess now its out they're dating. Carrie was Really short with me wouldn't take any pics because of her "long plane ride," SO my whole family has a whole different opinion of her now, we were huge fans.

I have sleep apnea and narcolepsy how do you get reid of this problem. I love to watch your T.v. Show evey day it is so neet to watch ya'll demistrait and exsplain about adults and kids get sick and how to get to feeling better.

I love your show. You have answered so many questions I have had, but was afraid to ask. You continue to say that you are looking for the right girl to marry. My daughter is the one for you. You and she have so many things in common. I would love for you to meet her. She is pretty, compassionate, and a truly loving person. She is 5'11", 33 years old, and loves children and animals. God has truly bless us,the public, with a show like this. I have learned so much about symptoms that I have been having over a period of time. e.g. memory lost (it can't be due to shrinkage of the ovaries because I had a full hysterectomy about 5 years ago), periodic sharp pains that last for seconds, and several other problems that I can't remember, right now. Thank you and the other doctors for doing such a good job. You are the perfect team.

hi, i have had a kid. I dont even want to show my body to no one becuse off the stretch marks that i have from it. I am only 18 and i should want to show off my body but i dont know what to use to get them to go away or fade.i have low self of stem and i have left over baby weight. could you help me figer out what to do. p.s. i love your show

I met one of the Bachelors on one of my trips (An officer and a gentleman) and he was odd, I think that anyone that has to go on a tv show to find "love" has something wrong with them including the girls.

Yes, Travis is dating Carrie Underwood. He is on the tour with her right now. There have been numerous fan sightings and pictures. I would have to say he has good taste. Carrie is the total pkg. Brains, beauty, talent, and a heart of gold. perfect girl.
That is not Travis Stork's real myspace page. It's somebody posing as him. He was born on March 9 for instance (so he's a Pisces) and the poseur says he's a Capricorn. Plus the spelling is atrocious!

Travis Stork - yummm\. Must be b/c he's such a handsome guy. I'm a long-time dedicated "The Bachelor" fan, and for the first time while watching, I actually felt JEALOUS while watching this show...like he was my boyfriend, and why was he hanging out w/ these OTHER girls?? Okay, so I'm a little out of touch w/ reality, BUT he's that cute to me. Is he really with an "old" girlfriend? Or is he looking for someone in L.A. while he tapes his new show?

The Myspace page you link to for Travis seems like a hoax. Another previous bachelor is listed as one of his Myspace friends. Unlikely! Plus the person who made the page couldn't spell. Also unlikely!
