The Highlands At Ladd Park: A New Neighborhood In South Franklin

the-highlands-at-ladd-park-entrance.jpg One of Franklin’s newest communities is located in the city limits but feels a world away.

Tucked behind the Williamson County Agricultural Expo Center off of Peytonsville Road and surrounded by farm land and hillside, The Highlands at Ladd Park has the makings of a wonderful combination of spacious homes, beautiful views and opportunities to enjoy nature at its best.

There is a lot to look forward to with this new subdivision going in on the south side of Franklin.

Wild Ginger: A New Cool Springs Restaurant That I'm Wild About!

I had the pleasure of dining at the new Wild Ginger a few nights ago.

Wild Ginger
101 Market Exchange Court
Franklin, TN 37067

It’s been open just a few weeks now. The restaurant is located on Market Exchange Court (facing Bakers Bridge) in Cool Springs -- just across from Miles Auto Spa.

The building is a really cool modern structure made of a combination of brick and flat stone.

Franklin Tennessee Wildlife... As Close As Your Own Backyard

One of the things I absolutely love about living in Franklin is that I can drive less than 10 minutes from home and find every convenience imaginable.

Even better, I can drive less than 10 minutes from home and find myself in the most beautiful country -- rolling hills, vast open spaces with horses, cows, bison, buffalo and corn fields.

It’s truly the best of both worlds.  I love to take a drive and see some of the beautiful scenery, and I often come across a family of deer or turkeys somewhere along the way. But that's not all...

franklin-tennesse-backyard.jpgMy son and I live about 2 miles from the downtown square in Franklin -- in a neighborhood nestled between Hwy 96 and Liberty Pike.  There are several small subdivisions nearby, as well as Liberty Elementary.  It’s not rural by any account, but I’m amazed at the variety of wildlife I find in my backyard!

Best Franklin Tennessee Doctors & Health Care Providers

| Comments (1)

heart-health-by-lusi.jpg Everyone knows how difficult it is to find a doctor that you like and can really trust -- especially when you've just moved to the area, and you don't know a lot of people.

After you've lived here awhile, you start to hear the same names of doctors popping up in conversations -- giving you a better idea of which doctors are good, and which ones should be avoided. But that takes awhile. What if you need a doctor now?

Ideally you'd want to ask your local neighbors who they go to, and whether they would recommend their doctors or not. In case you haven't done that yet, here is some advice from your other neighbor in Franklin, TN... me!
