I'm a native Nashvillian, and I’ve lived in Franklin for over 10 years. I have lived many other places and find that Franklin is the place that I truly love. It's like living in Mayberry! I’m excited to have this new opportunity to share my experiences in this town with you.

March 2 through April 11, 2009, head to Carmike Cinemas Thoroughbred 20 in Franklin, TN for the Independent Film Festival. One film will be featured each of the 6 weeks of the film festival and all movies are only $5. Funky AND a bargain!

From chocolate fixes to kids' holiday gifts, corporate gifts and wedding favors, the Hillsboro Chocolate Company has something for every occasion. The Pralines are my favorite.

Barbara's Homecookin' is located just off Hillsboro Road on Old Hillsboro Road in the Grassland area of Franklin. It's so good it almost tastes like your Mama made it but I assure you it has been made by the owner, Barbara Thomas, a Southern Mississippi transplant, who cooks up some of the best comfort food around.

We went to the Franklin Mercantile Deli -- also called the Merc -- for the first time. The owners, Graeme and Corrie Asch, take as much pride in making you feel welcome there as they do in cooking up great food with fresh ingredients at great prices.
