Casting Call: TV Reality Show 'Jingles' To Hold Auditions In Nashville This Month
Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice) has created yet another Reality TV show. It's called Jingles and they're holding auditions in Nashville at the end of May.
Mark Burnett has reportedly combined elements of The Apprentice and Rock Star to create Jingles, a new CBS reality series that will see contestants concocting commercial ditties for real products ... Home viewer votes cast following each broadcast will then determine a weekly winner, whose jingle will be used in and actual commercial. Source

What they're looking for:
- The greatest undiscovered marketing genius for this new show called “Jingles.”
- Fun, high-energy performances mixed with a competitive spirit.
- Teams of 2 to 3 people to write and perform product jingles.
- A team could be anything from an improv troupe to a singing comedy duo or a barbershop quartet.
- Teams will compete weekly for a chance to win $100,000 and a contract with one of the companies!
A team could be anything from a sole singer-songwriter to a brother/sister team to a hip-hop group or a barbershop quartet," Bank said. "Their performance onstage will really determine the vote." [Roy Bank heads development for Mark Burnett Productions] Source
For information on how to apply (and get specific details about the audition dates, times and places), contact Jonathan Tanzman, casting director for Mark Burnett Productions at 310-903-5400 x5610 or jtanzman@markburnettprod.com
Because weekly winners will see their jingles used in actual commercials, contestants don't have to win the entire competish to see some benefit. "If someone comes up with the next great Oscar Mayer jingle, it could be on TV for the next 20 years, even if they're voted off in week three," Burnett said. Source
Jingles will begin airing on CBS Sunday, July 27 at 9PM ET/PT. The show will be featured in 8 one-hour episodes.
Good luck, everyone! We'll be looking for our Franklin, TN and Nashville neighbors on TV...
I'm very confused about this whole Jingles audition show production. Nothing seems to be as it is suppose to be.I heard a commercial on the radio today that said you were doing auditions in Nashville but, you haven't even finished taping the first show. Everyone that I talk to doesn't know anything about the questions I need answered, and even the radio station can't find the information to give me about the newest auditions that are suppose to take place that they just advertised on the radio 30 minutes ago. Your site says the first show was to aire on CBS on July 27th,@ 9:00 p.m. but that didn't happen either.Does any body really know what is going on with the show Jingles????? I'd appreciate an update on when to expect the show to aire for real and whether you really are having another audition in Nashville, and if so when & where will the auditions be held ? I hope someone can answer some of my questions. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Maybe you should consider hiring me to help get things on track. I'd love to be a part of helping you to get this show up and running and get things done on a timely manner.
All My Best Always,
Vicki Lee
