Did you realize that Franklin is the only town in Tennessee that has been authorized to create its own license plate?  I think that is so cool!

I remember several months ago, or maybe even last year sometime, they sent out several options for residents to vote on. So, not only do we have our own plate, we actually chose the design, too!

The Historic Franklin license plate is available right now through June 25 for pre-orders.  As soon as there are 1,000 plates pre-sold, the license plates will be produced.

The cost is $49.95 and includes a charter membership to Franklin Tomorrow.  I also read that the first 1,000 people to purchase the plate will have their names included in a display at the Williamson County Archives & Museum.

I ordered my franklin license plate early on, so be sure to order yours soon so you can get in on the extra bonus of membership and permanent recognition at the Archives.  I'm a proud resident of Franklin, so I think it's really exciting to be able to display my town on my vehicle so others can see!

I’m going out to take some pictures of some of my favorite sites around town…come back soon so you can see what I’ve found!
