Ridmart: A New Franklin Business That Makes It Easy To Sell Your Items On eBay

Got an email the other day from Dana French about her new business in downtown Franklin called Ridmart.com.

I've seen their sign downtown, but haven't utilized their services yet.

Ridmart is a liquidation service that makes it easy for anyone to sell their things online. All you have to do is drop off your item and let Ridmart do the rest.

They...

...take professional photographs of your item

...write a custom description about the item

...list it on eBay for you

...collect the payment from the customer buying the item

...package and ship the item to the buyer

...handle all customer service of answering questions and working with the buyer to finalize the sale of your item

...send you a check after the sale of your item is complete!


From their press release:
Ridmart.com's new store in downtown Franklin provides on-line auction services (e-bay, and others) for businesses as well as individuals. This service includes shipping and receiving, pricing, digital photography and documentation of the customers items, answering questions from buyers, and payment processing.

The business services include clearance of overstock or clearance items, slow moving merchandise, or any other conditions where a business would like to make room for new or additional merchandise. Ridmart will warehouse the customers items while they are being sold on e-bay.

Another service Ridmart provides is to non-profit or charitable organizations for fundraising efforts.

Ridmart's drop-shipping service allows it's customers to buy and sell without ever touching the merchandise. A customer can buy in bulk, and have the merchandise shipped directly to Ridmart, where it will be sold individually on e-bay, and shipped. The customer only has to
concentrate on buying, everything else is handled by Ridmart, including warehousing."
