| Comments (15)
**NOTE: All puppies have been spoken for.**

If you're looking for a FREE puppy that's happy and healthy and just now ready for a new home at 8 weeks of age... check out the Franklin/Columbia "Freecycle" group!

Tenor's first visit to the vet. At 8 weeks of age, he's 12lbs! That's where we got our new puppy just three days ago.

Beverly, the dog's owner, said there were 10 in the litter, and there are 5 still available.

We took our puppy from this litter to the vet yesterday and he checked out just fine with a clean bill of health!

Predators Hockey: A View From The Cheap Seats... and On The Glass

| Comments (3)

We had the BEST time at the two most recent Predators home games!...

Fun Times In The Cheap Seats

Where we usually sit... in the nosebleed seats up in Section 303.December 17th, we took Jim's brother who was in town for the weekend to the Nashville Predators vs St. Louis Blues game. We sat in our season ticket seats: Section 303 -- the highest up, farthest from the glass seat in the house! (Here are more views from the cheap seats.)

The Preds won 7-3, with the majority of the points scored during the 2nd period alone, Vokoun back in net after missing several games to a knee injury, and FREE Tacos for everyone in attendance. (Every time the Predators score 5 goals or more in one night, Taco Bell gives everyone a free taco!) Jim's brother, who's not that big on hockey, had the time of his life on this night, as did we.

Fun Times In The Expensive Seats

View from the ice with our hockey tickets on the ice.December 20th, Jim and I were graciously given two tickets "on the glass" to the Nashville Predators vs Colorado Avalanche game. Well, not ON the glass, but 5 rows from the glass! It was the closest we have ever sat at a Preds game. And the entire time, we were reminded of previous hockey seasons when we usually sat front-row "on the glass" at Pensacola Ice Pilots games (they were an ECHL hockey league team -- there weren't that many people vying for those seats).

The Preds won 3-2, it was a touch & go game with the Predators coming on strong in the end -- which made the game even more exciting for the fans.

Nashville Skyline At Sundown

I snapped this picture on my way home from work today...

A picture of the Nashville skyline as the sun was setting over the city.

I wasn't sure what I'd get... the scene was so magnificent in person, yet all I had was my little pocket-sized digital-cam in the car.

Here's a listing of some of the best Holiday lights displays that the Nashville area has to offer.

Don't miss these tips on how to photograph Christmas lights... like those seen on our recent visit to George Jones's house.

If you watch GAC on Sunday (December 18th), you can get a close-up view of George and Nancy's holiday lights, as they invite the folks from GAC Classic to their home for a personalized tour. Check it out!
