Filming A Hamburger Helper Commercial In Franklin, Tennessee

Sure glad I had my camera on hand this day...

Yesterday morning before work, I went to see the chiropractor in downtown Franklin.

Franklin firemen filming a Hamburger Helper commercial for television. However, as I turned the corner to park in front of Dr. Cutsinger's office, I noticed that the road was blocked with barriers, big trucks, and two policemen.

I told them I had an appointment, so they let me pull in to park.

Turns out, they were about to start filming a Hamburger Helper commercial for TV!

A Visit To The Franklin, TN Post Office

U.S. Post Office in Franklin, Tennessee. On Saturday morning, I went to the local Post Office to buy a book of stamps. Who knew something so simple could turn into a 'story'?!

First, our Post Office, is a story in itself... see here.

But on this day, the guy behind the counter was someone who's been helpful to me in the past... especially after I returned the 2ND time during the whole "P.O. Box vs Actual Physical Address" fiasco! He always goes out of his way to be helpful. And I like him.

But on THIS morning, he didn't like me.

Last Day Of School...

Glad I had my camera on me for THIS shot!...

I went home for lunch the other day, and captured this photo while driving through downtown historic Franklin, TN.

This small, private elementary school (Battle Ground Academy) was celebrating its last day of school.

The funniest thing was that this was the MAIN road in and out of Franklin... a very busy U.S. Highway 31... yet these parents were fully comfortable utilizing the center turn/merge lane for their pseudo Parade-of-Parents line-up.

Also: that the PARENTS were so into it... more than the kids, from what I could tell!
